SPEAKERS

DR. JOYCE JAVIER

Joyce Javier, MD, MPH, MS, FAAP is a pediatrician, researcher, and advocate dedicated to empowering communities through science and policy.

As an Associate Professor at the Kaiser Permanente Bernard J. Tyson School of Medicine, she leads research on Filipino child health, focusing on youth mental health and parenting interventions.

A champion for change, Dr. Javier’s work—funded by the NIH and other prestigious organizations—aims to prevent depression and suicide while fostering stronger families. Through her leadership in the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Society for Pediatric Research, she continues to inspire women in medicine and advance healthcare equity.

EMILY ROLLINS

Emily Rollins is a seasoned financial expert and advocate for community enrichment. A former Audit and Assurance Partner at Deloitte & Touche LLP, she now applies her expertise to corporate and nonprofit boards, including Dolby Laboratories and the Greater Austin Black Chamber of Commerce.

Passionate about senior care, she co-founded Town Square NW Austin in 2022, creating an innovative space that fosters connection and well-being through reminiscence therapy.

Emily is dedicated to blending business leadership with meaningful social impact, championing initiatives that drive inclusivity, accessibility, and quality of life improvements.

ATTY. REGINA MAY CAJUCOM - DE GUZMAN

Atty. Regina May M. Cajucom-De Guzman is a legal expert, regulator, and advocate for financial security.

As the Director of the SEC Baguio Extension Office, she leads efforts to uphold corporate governance and protect investors. With a law degree from the University of the Cordilleras and a background in academia, she combines legal expertise with a passion for education.

A staunch defender against financial fraud, she chairs the Cordillera-RLECC Task Force Against Investment and Online Scams, working to safeguard the public from illicit schemes. An active member of the Phi Kappa Phi International Honor Society and the IBP Baguio-Benguet Chapter, she remains committed to ethical leadership and community empowerment.
